Team ClankerMakers
Team ClankerMakers represented the Queen Mary Electronics Society at the Unibots London Finals 2026!
The competition challenged teams to design and build fully autonomous robots capable of collecting ping pong balls and ball bearings before depositing them into their scoring zone over a 150 cm wall.
ClankerMakers secured 9th place with their bot 'Tenyra'. While the team had hoped for a higher finish, getting a robot from concept to competition is an achievement in itself, and every challenge throughout the weekend provided valuable experience for future competitions.
We're incredibly proud of the team's dedication and willingness to take on such an ambitious engineering challenge. Events like Unibots are all about learning, innovation, and pushing engineering skills beyond the classroom.
Congratulations to Team ClankerMakers for representing QMUL, and to all the teams who took part in another fantastic Unibots Finals. We look forward to seeing what next year's competition brings!
